Discovering the world through two languages
Language development begins through meaningful experiences in English and Spanish. Through stories, songs, conversations, games, and daily routines, children expand their vocabulary, strengthen their listening and speaking skills, and gain the confidence to communicate naturally in both languages.
Thinking, discovering, and finding solutionsChildren develop early mathematical skills by exploring numbers, quantities, shapes, patterns, sequences, and relationships. Through play and everyday experiences, they learn to reason, compare, classify, and solve simple challenges, building strong foundations for logical thinking.
Turning curiosity into discoveryChildren observe, explore, and experiment to deepen their understanding of the world around them. Experiences with nature, objects, and everyday phenomena spark their curiosity, encouraging them to ask questions, make discoveries, and develop early inquiry and scientific thinking skills.
Growing in confidence and learning togetherChildren strengthen their sense of identity, self-esteem, and independence in a caring and supportive environment.
Through routines, play, and interactions with their peers, they learn to recognize and express their emotions, respect others, share, collaborate, and approach daily experiences with increasing confidence.
Imagining, creating, and expressing without limitsArt, music, movement, and imaginative play offer children different ways to express their ideas, emotions, and experiences. By experimenting with materials, sounds, colors, and shapes, they develop their imagination and creativity while discovering their own unique forms of self-expression.
Moving, growing, and gaining independencePhysical and movement-based activities support the development of fine and gross motor skills, balance, coordination, and body control. Through play and age-appropriate experiences, children gain greater confidence in their movements and increasing independence in daily activities.
Taking the first steps toward new ways of thinkingChildren are introduced to technology through guided experiences that encourage them to explore, create, and solve problems.
Through age-appropriate activities, they develop sequencing, reasoning, logic, and computational thinking skills while learning to use technology safely, creatively, and purposefully.
Every day in Early Childhood is filled with exploration, play, and meaningful learning experiences that support children’s academic, social, and emotional development.
